James Bond 007 hunk Daniel Craig has finally admitted that his choice of attire last week for picking up his children from nursery was “ill thought out and a serious misjudgment on my part”. The superstar hottie admitted that he’d been premature in dressing for the summer and that going out to pick up his kids (Danielle, 5, and Craig, 14) in swimming trunks despite the pouring rain was not a wise move.
An onlooker told The Watcher: “It was a horrible day, hammering down with rain and I was waiting for my little Kylie with all the other mums when Danny arrived in nothing but his crackers. I couldn’t believe it. Two of the mums fainted, one had a nervous breakdown and I got a serious case of the vapors.”
Wivenhoe Mayor, Dame Dannii Minogue, was quick to jump to Craig’s defense pointing out: “It’s an easy mistake to make. Sometimes you don’t know if it’s going to be sunny or rainy. If I had a pound for the number of times I’ve misjudged the weather and gone to council meetings in just my swimming cossie and it’s rained, I’d have nearly seven quid”, before adding, “Wivenhoe police have suggested that Danny try not to wear his swimming costumes at or around schools or nurseries as it’s becoming a bit of a distraction for the mums.”
Craig was pulled in for questioning by police detective David Starsky (formerly of the LAPD), but was released without being charged after 14 hours. The gorgeous actor was said to be shaken, but not (ahem) stirred…
