In a move that’s causing excitement across Wivenhoe, it has been revealed that the judges from BBC One’s The Voice will be setting up shop in the car park located behind the Co-op to judge how customers park their vehicles.
The superstar judges include Jessie J, Michael Portillo, Ronnie Corbett, Terry Wogan and everyone’s favourite teeny tiny tot Kylie Minogue.
Kylie told The Watcher: “This is a really exciting opportunity for all of us and we’re keen to start judging how Co-op customers park. For too long selfish bums with people carriers or Range Rovers have carelessly left their motors across two spaces – hopefully that’s all about to change.”
The new initiative was announced to the press on Friday night with Kylie and Jessie J performing an acapella version of River Deep Mountain High, while Michael Portillo rapped and Wogan and Corbett twerked in the general direction of onlookers. Judging starts this week, with the grand final expected to take place on Easter Sunday.
